The library provides reading and reprography facilities to their users.
Reading Facility
For reading and referring print documents
In the main library premises there is a Light Reading Area near newspaper and periodical and General Reading Area near the book racks to refer the books, prepare notes, etc.
For reading and referring electronic and digital documents
Libraries at Nirma have OPAC terminals where its users can access online and offline databases, library databases and request for headphones for viewing digital documents. Libraries also have wifi units so that users can sit with their laptops for accessing and referring the electronic and digitised resources in library.
Reprography Facility
Photocopy and scanning facilities are available to users for library resources only.
Photocopy Facility
Photocopying service is an important service offered by the library to the users on payment basis for reference materials, like periodicals, reference books, and bound volumes, etc.
Scanning Facility
Scanning are available in library and can be used to scan library documents in reference area like reference books, periodicals, bound volumes, etc. This service is not chargeable but available on request.
Reference Service helps users to make full use of library resources and services. It provides necessary assistance to users in locating information or document of their choice. The library has 3364 bound volumes and 72 print periodicals in reference section. Users of Nirma University refer these reference materials within the premises of the library as reference materials are not loaned to the users.
Library provides reading facility to the users of Nirma University. About 124 seats are available at Institute of Law Library.
